Commentary:
Zhongfu is the Front Mu
point of the Lung. A Front Mu point
is where the Qi of a particular organ gathers
and concentrates. Activating a Mu point will
have a direct affect on the Organ itself. While the
Lung channel runs from this location to the end of
the thumb, it actually has its genisis in the Middle
Jiao (Stomach area) and runs down into the
Large Intestine, (Lower Jiao), before proceeding
up to its first point and on down the arm. This is
why points on the Lung channel can be used to treat
some Stomach problems. As well, the main function
of the three Jiaos (upper, middle and lower)
is to regulate water passage in the body, you will
find some points indicated for regulating water passage.
