There are altogether, in the classic texts, 12 main channels and 8 extraordinary channels, 2 of which have points of their own, (the Ren and the Du), in the human body containing 365 mapped Acupoints. Additionally, there some 70 Extra Points not associated with any channel. It is well beyond the scope of this site to provide detailed information about all these points. However, there are several well used and important points of interest to the Acupuncture student.
