What we put out comes back at least threefold according to one understanding of the Law of the Universe; abundant and overflowing according to another. We are all familiar with the phrase 'what goes around comes around.' The Universe is a perfect mirror for us. Whatever we put out to the Universe comes back to us. The Universe has only one answer for every prayer....... Yes. This is why one of the main principals of spiritual practice is to be careful what you ask for. Choose wisely, because you will get it. Affirmations are one way of directing your thoughts and invoking the creative power of the Universe in a way that is positive and life-affirming.... if that is what you truly want to do.
