The Horse
© Original Drawing by Shi-He Wang

The Horse is the 7th sign of the Zodiac.

If you were born between June 5th and July 6th the Horse influence is added to your year animal influence

The Horse rules between the hours of 11.00 am and 1.00 pm

The Horse enjoys the great outdoors and is drawn to team sports.
The typical Horse follows the latest trends and is usually the first kid on the block to have the latest bit of news to pass along.
The typical male Horse believes that a woman's natural place is in the home, the Female of the species believes in the natural superiority of women.
Women born under the sign of the Horse tend to be strong willed, assertive and like to be in charge.
The most dreaded of all women are Fire Horses. The last Fire year was 1966, the next one will be in 2026.
Horse people are usually athletic, often skillful, and generally independent. They are powerful, quick-witted, quick on their feet, and quick with their tongues.
At their worst, Horses are rebellious, tactless, and even ruthless in their dealings with others.

How Horses relate to;

The Rat; The innovativeness of the Rat tends to clash with the traditionalism of the Horse. These two do not get along. Each needs a high degree of freedom from the other if this relationship is to succeed.

The Ox; The Ox and the Horse may share the same field, but they decidedly do not share the same stable. The stability of the Ox tends to keep the Horse from galloping off. They have such differing opinions these two hardly bother to argue.

The Tiger; The Tiger is the natural soulmate for the Horse. There is mutual respect and affection which promises a successful and happy relationship.

The Rabbit; The Horse may find life somewhat difficult with the Rabbit. The Horse tends to stand on principal, even to the detriment of what is mutually beneficial.

The Dragon; The Dragon can take the Horse on an exciting ride through the heavens but must remember that they both live on planet earth to which they must return from time to time. Life is exciting for this pair, but they may be tripped up by mundane day to day affairs.

The Snake; This pairing may become quite boring unless some effort is made to broaden horizons and widen experiences.

The Horse; Two Horses can make a happy and successful relationship with many fulfilling moments to share. While there may be differences of opinion, they will not substantially intrude on the harmony of the relationship.

The Sheep/Goat; The Horse and the Sheep have a sincere bond of affection between them. There is great understanding and warmth that comes from deep within. Neither likes to be apart from the other for any length of time.

The Monkey; To the Horse, the Monkey is an amusing and stimulating companion. In business, a Monkey partner is ever eager to relay the latest gossip and information on competitors and trends in the marketplace.

The Rooster; While there is much to admire in the Rooster, the Horse ultimately finds the Rooster irksome and not wholly acceptable as a partner.

The Dog; The Dog is an ideal partner for the Horse in both business and romance. They have similar ambitions, desires to enhance the quality of life, and world views. These two can work together harmoniously to achieve these goals. An auspicious union.

The Pig; These two are quite comfortable together even when they are apart, which they are frequently. This will be a traditional and conventional union in many ways.
