The Tiger
Original Drawing by Shi-He Wang
The Tiger is the 3rd sign of the Zodiac.
If you were born between February 4th and March 4th, you are
influenced by the Tiger.
The Tiger rules between the hours of 3.00 am and 5.00 am.
The Tiger has a Magnetic personality, loves to shine in public.
He is definitely not a wall-flower. Tigers are noble and courageous
by nature, and tend to be loners. They have a deep sensitive
side, which when combined with their passion makes them good
companions.
The Tiger needs attention and will always stand out in a crowd.
Taking command is the natural order of things for the Tiger.
In China he is known as the King of Beasts, as the Lion is in
the West.
Tigers can be aggressive and even offensive if not properly
restrained.
Women born under the sign of the Tiger may have difficulty,
especially with other woman.
'Never bring a Tigress into the house' is an old Chinese saying.
The qualities associated with the Tiger are usually thought
of as being inappropriate for a woman, especially in Chinese
society. Some modern Tigresses however, may find some things
in modern society quite to their liking.
At their worst Tigers can become quarrelsome, rash, and vain.
They can be uncompromising and hot tempered at times.
How the Tiger relates to;
The Rat; This can be an easy going relationship as long as
each is OK with the other going his/her own way from time to
time.
The Ox; 'One Ox can fight two Tigers' is an old Chinese saying.
This can be a very uneasy relationship.
The Tiger; As the Tiger is the King in China, two rulers cannot
occupy the same throne. Either split the kingdom or be at war.
The Rabbit; This is a particularly auspicious partnership both
in business and and romance. Each is understanding of the other
and creatively able to resolve differences.
The Dragon; This is the ideal pairing for a wild, magical,
and intense fling both in business and romance, but unlikely
to be enduring.
The Snake; The Snake and Tiger will always be mistrustful of
each other, but the Tiger might find a Snake business partner
valuable.
The Horse; The Horse is one of the best choices for the Tiger
in partnerships. The Horse will always be understanding and
supportive of the Tiger's needs.
The Goat/Sheep; It is considered auspicious for the Tiger to
lie down with the Sheep, if the one doesn't eat the other first.
The Monkey; An exciting partnering as each must make constant
adjustments to the others personalities. Unconventional, a third
member of the team may be needed.
Rooster; The Tiger and Rooster are two highly strung individuals.
Egos clash, jealousy rears its head. However, mutual benefit
can bind the two.
The Dog; One of the best pairings for the Tiger. They respect
each other's ideals, and share each other's passions and problems.
The Pig; The Tiger and the Pig prefer completely separate domains,
with little interest taken in the other.
