TCM/Acupuncture

Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine - My alma mater is celebrating its tenth year in operation (2006). Mary Wu is a real task master, but she taught me to value highly what she taught and what I learned. She actually invited the Prime Minister of Canada, Jean Chretien to our graduation ceremony. He officially declined in writing, but to me it shows how highly she values what she does.

Peter Deadman- Peter Deadman is one of the foremost authorities in England of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and has authored what is fast becoming the best textbook in English for western students of Acupuncture.

Qi Journal - This is an excellent site for up to date articles on all aspects of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Medical Acupuncture - This is a site devoted to the use of Acupuncture according to Western anatomical structures rather than the classical points.

Hilary@Online Clarity - This is a one-woman business providing I Ching readings and courses in the U. K..

Dr. Shen - Dr. Shen's is an on-line Chinese herbalist with lots of good information on Chinese herbs and an herb store. He has a reciprocal link back to this site.

Michael P. Garofalo - This is an amazing site with pages of Haiku poems, Tai Chi Chuan movements, spiritual gardening, and other such diverse and interesting topics. This web site is another world. Very Zen. Ancient wisdom for modern times. Go see.

The Rejuvenation Room - Chinese Tuina Massage & Acupuncture for Beauty and rejuvenation. Also Kripalu Yoga treatments. You gotta try the hot oil head massage!

Reiki

Reiki Centrum - A Reiki site in Dutch with extensive links to other Reiki sites. If you speak English you will be directed to Reiki 4 All,
which is very personal and interactive. Check it out.

The Reiki Resource Centre - The Reiki Resource Centre is a source of information about Reiki. There are oodles of links, information pages, guides, a newsletter, and articles on the different brands and lineages of Reiki, of which there are many.

Reiki The World - a Reiki site in New Zealand reaching out to the world. My teacher is from Australia so I have a special affinity for this part of the planet. I like the idea of expanding Reiki practice from healing the individual to healing the world as in the final analysis they are one.

Traditional Japanese Reiki - We have been taught that Reiki died out in Japan with the death of Chujiro Hayashi. Apparently this was not the case and here is the web site to prove it.

Reiki plain and simple - While I do not endorse everything on this site, Vinnie has put a lot of work into it and there is much valuable information.

Light and Adonea - Light and Adonea are a pair of masters living in Sedona, Arizona. This sight is chock full of information and of all the sites on the Web this is one of the best.

The Canadian Reiki Association - I believe it is always good to join a professional association. It shows at least some sort of commitment to the practice.

Reiki Aloha - Reiki in Hawaii. Check it out.

William Lee Rand - International Center for Reiki Training. This is an extensive site with lots of good information. He publishes The Reiki News, a quarterly magazine on all things Reiki.

Frank Petter - has written four books shedding new light on the origins of Reiki and its practice in Japan.

Walter Lubeck - bills himself as grandmaster of Rainbow Reiki... very interesting guy....

Practitioners, Practices, Healers
& Friends

Angela Chang - Operates The Colon Zone, a site devoted to information on colonic cleansing. Check it out.

Amy Z. Rowlands - Author of the wonderful article on Beth Gray on this site, and Reiki Teacher in Pennsylvania, USA.

Emily Severence - practices Amma body work, a Korean version of Chinese Tuina Massage. I have put in a link here because Emily has links to me. There is some interesting information on Tao and Chinese Medicine. If you're ever in Boise, Idaho, look her up.

The Insight - This is new directory of wholistic and natural therapies and practitioners. It is just getting started, but it is easy to add your site to it if you like.

Real Age© Depression Center. This is a site chock full of information, mostly clinical about depression, including links and a depression quiz.

The Spirit of Maat- This is Drunvalo Melchizedek's site. Maat is the Egyptian hieroglyph of Truth. Maat's father is a symbol for the lightness of Spirit that means integrity and being true to Self. Sometimes I don't know what to make of Drunvalo's stuff, but he has done some interesting work on Sacred Geometry.

Cancer Success - This is a site devoted to a remarkable journey to wellness made by a man named Bob Davis. Lots of personal insights. Worth a visit by anyone doing a long term illness.

Spa-la-la - Features music that calms the spirit and soothes the soul, by Laura Nashman.

The Yoga Sanctuary - A safe haven for inward journeys in the heart of the city - Toronto.

Total Balance - Opened their doors to the public in the Year of the Dragon. I knew there was something I liked about about these guys. Pilates, Yoga and a bunch of other stuff.

The New Jersey Academy of Health - "When our clients are 100% independent of drugs, doctors and discomfort, we have done our job" - Frank Seeley.

Kaihuna - a very interesting sight exploring the ins and outs of spiritual journeying. Take a look.

Centre for Conscious Living - formerly known as Religious Science. CFCL follows the teachings of Ernest Holmes who developed the Science of Mind. Got a spiritual question? Ask the Rev.. Cool.

Joshua Zuchter - A local London, Life Coach and Empowerment specialist, who has a particular interest in Wholistic medicine. A very professional looking web site.

Oy Map of Canada - Provides links to a wide variety of government and private agencies, services and sites devoted to selling stuff. Apparently Compassionate Dragon is listed there.

Shambhala Publications - The 'go to' publisher for all the latest books on Eastern philosophy and practices.

Website Design, Graphics, Resources, Free Stuff etc.

Charmweb - Charmweb designed the Compassionate Dragon site, and specializes in Yoga, healing, and other wholistic healing type sites. Charm's site designs are among the best on the web, in my view. Check it out.

Boogie Jack's - this site has over 500 pages of tutorials, graphics, e-zines, and much more for anyone building or maintaining their own site. One of the web's better resources. Subscribe to his 'almost a newsletter.'

Bellsnwhistles - lots of interesting graphics free.

123 greetings - Send a cool 'spiritual' e-greeting card. A variety of religions andphilosophies represented including a Taoist greeting. Check it out.

The links below have kindly contributed to my Christmas (2003) decorating efforts. There are some truly creative and excellent work on these sites.
