There are a number of Shu points located
on the Urinary Bladder channel that runs through this
region approximately 1 1/2" - 2" lateral
to the Lumbar Spine and Sacrum. A Shu point is where
the Qi of a particular organ gathers and collects
and is linked directly to that organ. The Shu points
located in this region are the Large Intestine, Small
Intestine, and Urinary Bladder.
These points are mainly used for Lumbar
pain, urinary and genital problems.
In Reiki, move your hands around to
see if you can find an area of more intense vibration
or heat and look for the connection between Laogong
and a local point. If lower back pain is one of the
symptoms you are treating, you will find active points
all over this region.
